Neediness and Needs

We must remember that “needs” and “neediness” are not the same thing. Neediness is a systematic belief in lack that has no basis in reality. When you consistently identify yourself as needy, you are eventually going to undermine your self-esteem and your self-confidence.

Your needs, on the other hand, are not debilitating. They are simply part of your biological heritage. Furthermore, when you satisfy your needs, you are contributing to your basic experience of well-being.

Your needs include proper nourishment, suitable shelter, loving relationships, and the appropriate exercise of personal autonomy within respectful, collaborative gathering of other human beings.

Joy for a purposeful life

My purpose in life is to enhance my experience of it and that of others with my innate abilities and talents.

I must find my inner joy for if there is no joy there cannot be a fulfilling life. Therefore, I choose to satisfy my desires from a place of Love and Light.

I am joyful and at my best when I am operating from a heart based place. For this is when I know I am living my purpose in life.

Resistance

Resistance prevents you from creating movement for change and transformation to occur; it will keep you in conflict with the growth that is essential in our quest for freedom.

Resistance steals the lessons to be learned and understand about whom we are and what might be missing in our lives. When you choose to agree, honor and embrace the idea that something is taken from you, in spite of what is going on in your life, you will discover that every single moment you experience is a lesson to be learned.

Choosing to agree instead of resisting (new thoughts and ideas-) allows you to take the wounds and transform them into sources of love, wisdom and knowledge to empower you. Entertain the idea that what you are experiencing is a disclosure, a discovery into the infinite possibilities for creating what you want to welcome into your life. And that is an opportunity for integration, for there is liberation, freedom in integration.

When you first wake up in the morning, are you feeling negative about your day or are you looking forward to it?

Sometimes we forget to take the time to recognize the richness that defines our lives. This may be because many of the messages we encounter as we go about our affairs prompt us to think about what we don’t have rather than all the abundance we do enjoy.

You can establish positive habits that will help you create a wonderful day. As soon as you wake up, begin to think about the people and things in your life you are grateful for.

Take a deep breath and focus. Now, follow your gratitude thoughts with sending positive

energy ahead to the people you will meet and the places you will be that day.

Practice these new habits for the next two weeks and notice how your life changes! You'll be motivated to continue.

Unconditional Love and Compassion

Compassion is unconditional soul love. When expressed, it empowers others. When you feel love toward someone ask yourself: "Is this compassion or is it pity?" Pity diminishes others and is disempowering, while compassion honors them.

When you love unconditionally, that is your soul expressing itself. Too often our love is very conditional, limited and partial.

What blocks you from loving unconditionally? How do you experience courage, self love and wisdom?

Successful Living

Because I love and hold myself in the highest regard, I have a successful life. In doing so, I love those around me and find joy in what I do, (and do it mindfully) from a heart place of Unconditional Love.

I have fulfillment in what I call my life, my experiences and my existence. I enjoy being me, living the highest expression of Life, My soul feels nourished and when it happens, I know that I am living my life?s purpose to create and share Love, Joy, Kindness and Compassion to and for the world.
